Project Overview

Washup is a modern Cleaning Services WordPress theme designed for cleaning companies, home cleaning businesses, office cleaning services, laundry providers, and other maintenance-related businesses. I independently developed the complete WordPress theme, taking responsibility for the frontend implementation, custom Elementor widgets, WordPress integration, and overall technical architecture.

Built with Elementor and Bootstrap 5, Washup focuses on providing a clean, professional, and user-friendly website-building experience. The theme includes multiple homepage layouts, reusable Elementor widgets, flexible header and footer options, and customization features that allow businesses to create websites suited to their specific services.

I handled the entire development process independently, transforming the design into a complete commercial WordPress product while focusing on responsive layouts, reusable components, and a consistent visual experience.

Challenge

The main challenge was creating a specialized cleaning services theme that could accommodate different service businesses while maintaining a professional and consistent design.

Cleaning businesses need clear service presentations, trust-building sections, contact information, testimonials, and accessible calls to action. I needed to organize these elements into reusable page sections that could work across multiple homepage layouts without compromising the overall design.

Another important part of the project was making the theme easy to customize through Elementor. This required building reusable widgets and integrating the frontend layouts with WordPress while ensuring that the components remained responsive and visually consistent.
