Project Overview

Delish is a modern Restaurant & Cafe WordPress theme designed for restaurants, cafés, food businesses, and hospitality brands. I independently developed the complete WordPress theme, taking responsibility for the core implementation, reusable components, responsive layouts, and overall technical structure.

Built with Elementor and Bootstrap 5, the theme focuses on combining attractive food-focused visuals with a flexible website-building experience. It includes multiple homepage layouts, custom Elementor widgets, header and footer variations, and WooCommerce integration to support a variety of restaurant websites and online business needs.

I handled the entire development process independently, from implementing the layouts and building reusable components to integrating WordPress functionality and refining the responsive experience.

Challenge

The main challenge was building a complete restaurant-focused WordPress theme that combined visual appeal with practical functionality while maintaining a consistent design across different layouts.

Restaurant websites rely heavily on imagery, clear content presentation, menu-related information, and intuitive navigation. I needed to ensure these elements worked together across different homepage variations while keeping the layouts flexible enough for users to customize through Elementor.

Since I handled the project independently, I was also responsible for ensuring that the individual components worked together properly, that the theme remained responsive, and that the WordPress integration supported a smooth customization experience.
