Project Overview

Landi is a modern Jekyll theme designed for landscaping companies, gardening services, lawn care businesses, and other nature-related businesses. Built with Bootstrap 5.2 and Sass, it offers a responsive design and reusable layouts for creating professional gardening and landscaping websites.

I developed the Landi Jekyll theme, adapting the Landi design into a Jekyll-based solution with reusable templates, Markdown-driven content, and a maintainable frontend structure.

Challenge

The main challenge was to adapt the Landi design for Jekyll while preserving the visual consistency and flexibility of the original template.

The theme needed to support reusable layouts and Markdown-based content while keeping the frontend responsive and easy to maintain. It also required Jekyll-specific functionality for SEO metadata, pagination, and content organization.

Results

The completed Landi Jekyll theme provides a flexible static-site foundation for landscaping and gardening websites.
